Network Marketing by Design

If you’re the typical network marketer, you’ve had some definite ups and downs in your quest for financial freedom.

Frankly, the statistics of success don’t line up with the promises of success. Unfortunately, that has left a bad impression of mlm in many minds and reluctance to take the bait one more time.

Honestly, I felt the same way in 2002…nearly giving up ever joining another mlm business opportunity again. Even though I experienced a pretty high level of success, the residual income I’d been told was easy to achieve seemed to elude me. Just when I was about there, something would change and frustration took over one more time. Does that sound familiar?

Through it all, I decided I was finished with begging friends and family, neighbors and everyone who came within 3 feet of me, cold calling thousands of people and buying every system offered by my “upline” and “crossline” leadership. I’d spent thousands of dollars…and always more than I was making with the promise that the latest system would create a tenfold return on my investment. Know what? It didn’t!

That changed in 2004. I found a great new company that was solely internet based and started a serious search for the internet marketing education and tools that would provide success and duplication...that elusive dream of every network marketer. I saw the trends taking place and realized that network marketing was evolving into something new and different. Those remaining stuck in the “old school” mlm methods would eventually be left behind. So, I immersed myself in as many training calls as I could find and purchased proven courses that would provide the skills I’d need to find customers and team members who also wanted a successful home based business. I sought mentors who were not just internet gurus, but had actually built successful network marketing businesses online through their own experiences of success and failure.

The best of what I found came from two sources. The first was Mike Dillard, the creator of Magnetic Sponsoring, MLM Traffic Formula, and now Building on a Budget, all affordable tools that continue to provide incredible value and save me from making a lot of expensive mistakes in this new and ever changing arena of internet marketing. I also use Ann Sieg and the Renegade Network Marketing System where I’m learning how to integrate the new methods as I transition into an internet professional myself.

I find it easier to attract people than to chase them down or pay for leads. In fact, you can create cash flow while generating your own lead lists with both of these systems. What a wonderful opportunity to recover my training investments, create income while helping people be more successful using the internet to generate leads lists and then build relationships that convert to business partnerships with my primary company. I’m selling more products online and finding interested business prospects through my marketing efforts as I move higher on the search engines. I’m having fun again and working with people who are looking for what I offer. That is truly attraction based marketing!

The only challenge was that many of my new recruits needed additional training, which resulted in less productive time for me to spend building my team. I’m pleased to say I’ve found the perfect solution. It is overwhelming for the beginning internet user, but these are exactly the people who need to start seeing profit…otherwise they tend to give up the dream of financial freedom and extra income that drove their decision to start a home based business in the first place.
